Two sections of sensuously sleek and shining metal curve around one another to create the central structure of this piece. The delight of these undulating forms lies in both the glowing materiality of the gold plated metal (available in a range of different options) and the purpose of their structure. This purpose is only truly revealed once the light is turned on, as a cave-like gap in the overlap of these metals is illuminated, causing a ray of light to radiate out from the very heart of the piece. Not only does the light shine onto the metallic structure at the centre of the piece, however, the clear acrylic summit of the piece also allows for light to pass vertically into the room.
