Description
Native to the southern regions of Africa, the Calla Lily planet is one of this planets most graceful and most beautiful natural conceptions. Taking inspiration from its extensive glamour and its moving delicacy, the designers behind the Calina suspension light have create a jaw-droopingly unique centrepiece that not only demands attention at the centre of any room but offers new delights at every glance. A spectacular achievement of interior design, bring a unique natural energy to the heart of your home with this piece.
The first thing to note with this piece is the deep colour palette and how this may initially seem at odds with a lighting fixture, but how the designers of this piece have actually turned into an expert display of radiance. The dark presence of the graceful, hammered and aged brass that makes up the structure and the feature leaf-like structures of this piece offer a canvas upon which the light is exaggerated, however, when the light is illuminated it also alters the very surface of the brass revealing it a new, previously non-existent light. In this sense, the Calina suspension lamp is imbued with an almost living and breathing quality itself, making it a truly dynamic addition any contemporary living space.
