Description
A singular piece and a homage to all things shiny and radiant, as all great lighting fixtures should be, it is designed to glow at each points of its own design. This is poignantly achieved through both the designers acute awareness of its structural qualities, as well as its material presence. If you are looking for an energetic centrepiece to warm up a contemporary living space, there really is no need to look any further.
A gentle patchwork of luscious metal panels, the structure of this piece is contrastingly varied where the material is not, so we will discuss these initially. Built of sensuous curves that alternate and overlap each other, these panels are positioned in such a way as to create a self-sufficient network of reflective surfaces that take on a life of their own once the light is illuminated. The matte hammered brass of these panels only emphasises this warm and glowing ambience as the material beams in the light and reveals a textural variety that appeals to both our visual and textural senses. The choice of brass is ingenious in that it offers a warmer and denser radiance than the sometimes harsher reflective edges of other shiny metals.
