Description
Mount Bromo in Indonesia sits in the middle of a natural plain referred to as the “Sea of Sand’. A protected nature reserve since 1919, this active and awe-inspiring volcano has been sculpted by many years of meteoric activity and stands today as one of the most visited volcanoes worldwide. Inspired by the dynamic energy of this natural wonder, the Broko rug is a warm and expressive addition to any living space with its rhythmic lines and its depth of colours.
Moving in a wave-like manner across the surfaces of this piece, the eyes are guided along multiple earth-toned lines the undulate and comfort in their soft curvature. Softness really is the order of the day when it comes to rugs and specifically when it comes to this piece. Hand-tufted in a soft and lustrous wool, the Broko not only exhibits magnificent handmade craft but is also extremely comfortable, soft and made to last as a result of its carefully selected materials. Appearing as a landscape in itself, this rug is really a wonderfully muted addition to any nature-inspired, bright modern home through its cosy colour palette and soothing natural form.
