When we think of luxury and when we think of glamour, the material presence of marble is never too far away from our thoughts. This pieces structure, formed a solid polished brass with a high gloss varnish, is built precisely to enhance the majesty of the marble at the centre of this piece. Wrapping round in thin, sleek tubes of shining metal, the base of this piece draws the eyes before revealing its marble surfaces. The solid and sleek rounded base of the lamp is made from a magnificently chosen polished Travertino marble that is muted and comforting in its colour palette, but textually dense enough for the eyes to delight upon. The lampshade itself then resembles the marble of the base with a delightfully natural beige patterned fabric that compliments the marble and adds a warm organic sense to contemporary living spaces.
