Description
The lasting image of mid-century furniture design is of bold forms and even bolder materials. Taking direct influence from the fashion of Hollywood mansions and grandiose country manors, the material wealth of this piece is crafted into an expertly modern take on a classic. Strong in its presence, but muted and versatile in its colour palette, the Danlyn chest of drawers is a modest and massively moving place through its divine simplicity.
Taking on a bold and confident silhouette, the piece is formed into an assured rectangular form of cream lacquered wood with a high gloss finish the Danlyn is a bright and modern addition to any space. The materiality of the doors and drawers is then allowed to shine within this minimalist structure. The luscious and deep grain of the American Walnut is a classic and organic feature that exudes natural comfort and adds a warm, earthy feel to a living space. The handles of the drawers in cream lacquer and polished brass gives the Danlyn drawers a clean and bright finish that gives the piece a considered continuity and harmonious ambience. Nothing short of a modern masterpiece, give your home a grandiose yet contemporary gesture with this magical piece.
