Structurally the Lana sideboard is crafted from a partially visible wooden frame, that is available in wooden or lacquered finishes, that offers natural strength and structural integrity. Upholstered almost entirely in leather, the piece radiates a material softness that provides calm for both the eyes and the touch, as well as paying homage to the glamour of mid-century design. The interiors of the eight drawers that feature at the front of this piece are similarly finished with wood and leather mats to give a sense of continuity throughout the piece. At the summit of this restful and minimal frame, a slab of bright white marble sits proudly assured and free of distraction in a dance of material splendour. There really aren’t many pieces more utterly luxurious than this.
