Description
For as long as we have been drawn to the world of art and design, hand-crafted objects have always drawn our fascination. This fascination derives from the meeting point at which the material world and the human world of emotion meet in the creation of objects, mapping the human experiences upon the tactile world. The Temptation cabinet is a masterful piece in its artistry and its attention to hand-crafted detail. Whilst hand-crafted, the finishes on display here are unmistakably a product of modern design, adding a sense of exuberant luxury.
Paying homage to the long and vibrant history of Mediterranean tile-making, the central cabinet of this piece is hand-carved and hand-painted to resemble the vast landscapes of unique tiles on display in Southern European coastal cities. The magical surface of this piece makes this room a standout pop of colour and a statement piece in any room. The base of this piece plays a perfect supporting role, both in its solid wood finish and its minimal design, that allows the central feature to shine. Upon opening the doors, the luxury stakes are raised once again. The coated gold of the doors and the synthetic death upholstery of the interior give a sense of classical luxury, that plays in contrast to the overt expressiveness of the exterior with a sense of understated glamour.
