Cut into a sleek and assured rectangular form, the table top is made with recovered oak beams that are treated and processed to enhance the wood’s distinctive cracks and knots, allowing their true natural form to sing along to its own tune. The spectacle and grandeur of this natural form is placed centre stage as it delicately rests upon two glass supporting panels that appear to elevate the top into a position of effortless flotation. Gently announcing themselves upon the wooden surface, the glass panels can be seen from the top of the table as they slot into the wooden surface in a gesture of effortless harmony. Wonderfully balanced and unendingly emotive in its stark simplicity, the presence of the natural world can be felt in any living space when in the presence of such a magical piece.
