On first sight this piece stands out as a unique piece through its singular form, which is both unusual for such a piece but also a clever geometrical trick by the designers. The pointed angle of the structure has a two-fold effect that is subtle in how moving it is. Firstly, it announced the structure of the piece off the wall and into the room, whilst simultaneously it creates a focal point for the viewers lines of vision and into the centre of the piece. And once the eyes rest upon this piece, the American Walnut, cream lacquer, Marsala leather and clear mirror finish of the doors is nothing short of a ballet for the senses, both visually and to the touch. Upon opening the doors, the viewer is welcomed to a hall of mirrors effect that expands the pieces depth and plays off any available lighting in the room.
