At its base, the piece revolves around a central cylindrical column of satin brass with a high gloss finish that not only evokes continuity in its circular form but also creates a sleek and shining focal point for the piece to build upon. A triptych of polishes Sahara noir marble panels then radiate out from this central column in assertive and spectacularly beautiful gestures that announce the piece into the room, whilst drawing our eyes towards the piece in the same move. In the name of continuity and in the name of symmetry, a large rounded table top of the same Sahara Noir marble rests atop this subtly varied base, allowing the eyes to rest upon its miraculous surfaces.
