Description
Taking its inspiration from the authenticity of the brilliant and multitudinous karst formations that can be found in the natural world, the Lexington table lamp finds beauty in the most unexpected of places. An utterly beautiful piece of contemporary design, the piece takes the natural world as its jumping off point as it resembles the surface dissolution and freezing of dolomite rocks in an unquestionably modern form. The combination of forward-thinking design and natural influence make this piece a dynamic addition to any modern living space.
The base of this lamp offers a silhouette that is deceivingly simple in its outwards appearance. A bold cuboid form of stainless steel gives this piece a brilliant mirrored exterior and offers a stark, defined shape that stands assured. The cuboid structure of this piece is broken, however, by a vista of polished and hammered brass that breaks its continuity in dazzling fashion, providing an energetic metallic contrast at the heart of this piece. A delicate and shining cylinder of polished brass then reaches out of this solid structure to hold up the white, cylindrical shade of the lamp. The clean white presence of the shade adds to the already luminous base of the piece to make this lamp a radiant addition to any living room.
