Taking its name from the art of hypnotism, this piece uses its surfaces and an array of lines to mesmerising effect, drawing our eyes into a play of light, shapes and colour. The upper section of the chandelier is formed from a glamorous polished brass with a high gloss finish that is freely arranged into a web of hexagonal panels that harness a dynamic energy. The lower section of the chandelier is then formed from similarly hexagonal panels in a contrasting black lacquer that offers a sleek and deep surface that contrasts with the luminescence of the polished brass. The delightful expressiveness of this pieces silhouette is only emphasised when the lights are illuminated and they paint forms around the room.
