With this in mind, the Gannon console exhibits a mastery of particularly noble materials that is brilliantly expressive and alluring to the visual field. Set within a perfectly crafted form and balanced in its colour palette, this piece belongs in any modern living space with a classical feel.
There is no material more noble than marble. Making up the tabletop of this console, a slab of light and deeply textural marble is gently curved at the centre of the piece. The remainder of this tabletop is finished in a luscious velvet that contrasts in both colour and feel to the sleek, cold marble as it offers a warmer tone and gentle touch. Framed and detailed with polished brass, the metal adds a recognisably classic surface that is both bright and luxurious in equal measure. The polished brass continues to feature as we look at the legs of the piece and is coupled with an organic Walnut root veneer that offers further surface depth and a bold, dark colour that is rooted in the natural world.
