Where do we even begin with the Ethan centre table. It places stylistic integrity at the very top of it’s list of priorities, whilst somehow through clever design, finding the energy to devote all of it to a sense of functionality, practicality and it’s show stopping good looks. The virtues and benefits of a perfect balance are showcased here, and as is so often the case, the Ethan table finds its sense of balance through a careful and elegant use of symmetry. The table is formed from a number of large cylinders, placed vertically and fused together, all of which slowly bow outwards and widen as you approach the top.
Each of the cylinders is topped with circular intersecting plates of varying shades of exquisite marble. These circles themselves are intersected by one another, and the geometrical lines provide the opportunity for slight shifts in shade of the deep luxurious marble. The circles are defined by thin bands of equally regal pulsing gold leaf which falls from the table tops, coating the sides of the table in thick golden wrapping from top to bottom. It’s a piece that will draw attention in any room, and surely a staple of any contemporary living space.
