There’s a time honoured and well proven saying, that goes “If it ain’t broke don’t fix it”. It’s possible to spend years toiling away in search of a new innovative design, when the reality is that the perfect classic design was right before you, and it only needed a small twist to create something new, exciting and beautiful. At the end of the process that went into creating the Caitlin centre table, it’s perfectly understandable why the designer took one look at it, and decided that the only way you could improve the table, was to gift it a sibling made entirely in its image. The table tops are both cast from the same exquisite verde guetemala marble, cut to a perfect circle with deep swirling natural grains traversing the flawless surface and creating a sense of depth.
The second table is identical in every respect, except for its size being just short enough that the larger table can be sat slightly overlapping against it. Forming, that’s right, a Caitlin. This feature brings an added sense of functionality to the piece and means that, although they could work well on opposite sides of the room, or spread throughout the house just to share the wealth, they can easily work together, whilst not taking up too much space. The legs bring a modern touch with four large branches bending downwards and inwards and meeting at the bottom.
