Description
There are times at which subtlety is needed. A more muted approach can often strike a much louder tone and cut through the crowd. At other times it’s necessary that we be loud and bold, that we vie for attention by flaunting our best features for all of the world to see. But there’s a fine degree of middle ground that sits between these two ideals. And art that manages to strike a balance between the ostentatious and the unassuming often has the most profound effect on its audience. The Caitlin table is designed with this aim in mind.
When it comes to the to the table top the Caitlin table whispers. It makes use of the fundamentals. A large, flawless circle in which the grains have been manipulated as to all converge on the centre, as if this is a section that has been cut straight from a tree. A fine wood veneer coats every side. When it comes to the legs, the Caitlin table shouts. Large, blocky modern design is the order of the day with its six large trunks descending from the central portion of the table top before bowing outwards and coming together on the ground to form a solid and stylish setting for the table.
