The silhouette of this piece is defined by contrasts between the undulating curves of the chair and the bold angular ‘V’ shape of the four legs. Upon closer inspection of the piece, this initial contrast is also present in the material choices on display. The sleek and shining surfaces of the polished copper tubes exude a sense of esteemed luxury whilst paying homage to the triangular forms of Boreal mountain ranges. It is then that the slick and cold metal of the legs is opposed by the expertly upholstered soft material presence of the velvet cushion and backrest.
