All of the best visual elements of the desert have been brought together here so effortlessly, only then to be blended with a space age futurism when one takes a second to admire the curve of the backrest, the juxtaposition of the square front with the semi-circular back, it’s really quite something.
And the desert comparisons don’t stop there. Far from it. In fact, one can see elements of the Bedouin people in how low the armchair is to the ground—an aspect of their traditional furniture design that has been immortalised in painting and film over the centuries. Now, draw your eyes onto the lower part of the backrest, note how the three sections of the chair lock together in perfect harmony with one another.
