Description
Minimalism is commonly known for its removal of expression and its removal of gestural creativity. However, this couldn’t be further from the truth. Minimalism’s power lies in its focus and removal of distraction, that allows us to centre our attention upon the power of singular gestures or the majesty of form. The Arezoo dining chair brings a sense of the magic of minimalism into your living space in a subtly moving, comforting and versatile piece.
The frame of the chair is formed from solid-wood that roots it in the long lineage of classical design, whilst offering a tactile and warm surface that is comforting to the touch and to the eyes. Formed of bold, straight lines this frame offers ease to the visual field and gives off a certain, assured presence as a result of its simplicity. Upon this steady frame, the seat cushion and backrest are upholstered in a luscious leather that offers a sleek, modern finish that contrasts in both form and texture with the central frame. The slightly reduced size of the backrest means that these chairs refuse to impose themselves upon a room and sit at table top height, opening up the space surrounding the table.
The Arezoo range also have this design available as an armrest and in a taller version as a bar stool.
