Description
The Allington isn’t just a console. That’s an egregious underselling of what’s actually presented here. The Allington is a marvel of modern metalworking genius. Dominated by bold shapes, forms and clean sophisticated curves it manages to pair a classical pillar like form, with a modern approach to material selection and management. And when it comes to the materials, no expense has been spared on providing the most extravagant and beautiful ingredients intended to really showcase the beauty of this design. The tabletop is cast from the finest Carrera marble, alluring and delicate.
Its flawless body and the pearl finish create a feeling of transparency. You feel as though you could fall into it, and to be honest, it won’t have any issue holding you. This table’s lower side is as robust as its upper is delicate. Two large bulky curved legs carved of aged brass dominate the bottom half and provide the legs of the piece. They curve away from each other at opposite ends of the table providing a rich luxurious glow and two pillar like monoliths as the base. The same aged brass stretches out beneath the plate of the table, managing to breach the divide between the two materials that would otherwise be as oppositional as they are luxurious.
