Description
Modernity doesn’t simply mean angular lines, sleek metal and staunch minimalism. The worlds of Andy Warhol and Roy Lichtenstein have proven that playfulness and colour are essential facets of what it means to be expressively modern. The Acama dining table, with its brilliant surfaces, its bold form and its brilliant array of colours, in this sense, is a dynamic and energetic modern piece that is bound to bring any contemporary living space to life.
Combining all the quality of handmade manufacturing with a uniquely sophisticated style, the smooth lacquered wood dining table for six offers a shining surface that is as delicate as it is bold. Crafted into several layers that get gradually smaller as our eyes travel down, the designers have created an array of modern horizontal lines that are alluring in their depth and that guide us around the piece effortlessly. It is at this point that four assured and sturdy legs in the same lacquered wood protrude out in gentle angles that similarly reduce in size as their curved surfaces reach the floor. The visual effect of these legs is that they give the piece a sense of rising into the room, announcing itself as the centre stage.
