Description
A centre piece is a role that only the finest pieces can occupy. The furniture that we choose to hold the fort in a room requires a perfect combination of assured presence and outstanding flair. The Abney centre table fulfils this requirement and more with its strong and varied form, as well as its multitude of different layers and surfaces that serve as a persistent oasis for the senses. A truly magnificent example of modern furniture design with its roots in a rich history of luxury, it really is a must have.
The base of this piece builds upon its own majesty with abundant and diverse asymmetrical shapes. Cultivated in Poplar Root, American Walnut, Copper Leaf, polished Nero Marquina and Light Estremoz marble this piece has a natural harmony to it, where the materials act in relation to one another and form new engaging patterns in the visual field. The luxury of these listed materials isn’t lost on this piece as well, adorned as it is with a contemporary glossy finish that makes this dark piece of furniture a ballet of light as it reacts to a room. The vast table top, similarly constructed from Nero Marquina marble is bold in its darks circularity and draws our eyes into its organic surfaces.
